The Promotion Hub (TPH) is dedicated to offering an affordable and result focused marketing management service to small rural businesses.
We understand what it’s like to be a small business attempting to take on the big guys – the ones with all the money and power to dominate the digital marketing world. We understand, because it’s a challenge we ourselves face daily!
We have spent a lot of time learning and developing the skills to be able to circumnavigate the online digital world in a way that doesn’t break the bank, and is still effective in giving small businesses a voice their customers can hear among the ruckus caused by their larger competitors.
Part of this requires taking into account that all of this noise of late has had a somewhat negative impact on consumers – the general consensus is that people are sick of being hit in the face with online advertising. It’s everywhere you turn, every time you open an app or read a blog or article.
We are constantly working on ways to develop the relationship between your business and your customers so that it doesn’t feel like advertising at all. Instead, it is an ongoing conversation that adds value to your customers lives and makes them feel like they are a part of a bigger picture.
We are looking for businesses who want to not only push the boundaries within their industry, but completely reinvent them!

How it all began...
Thanks so much for taking the time to visit the website of another small rural business.
TPH was born out of the recognition for the need for a marketing agency that has a solid understanding of rural Australia, the people that live there, the businesses they run and the challenges they face.
Being the daughter of small rural business owners, having grown up in rural Australia and having worked in a number of these businesses, I felt as qualified as anyone to make a change.
My first introduction to small business marketing came from working in a small town newspaper after finishing my Bachelor of Agricultural Science at Charles Sturt University, Wagga Wagga.
In a strange turn of events, I found myself employed as the Community Promotions Officer, my main responsibility being to sell advertising space as well as work with people to help them promote their local businesses and community events.
I thoroughly enjoyed this job and gained invaluable skills in design and copywriting as well as a deep understanding of the unique challenges businesses in the bush have to overcome just to survive.
From the newspaper I moved on to working as a sales agronomist for a rural and farm supplies store. It was here I gained a view from the other side of the fence – from within the day to day workings of a small rural business. In good seasons it was a fast paced, challenging and very rewarding job.
With over 10 years of experience working in and around rural Australia, I have long been conscious of so many business owners in small rural communities with such masses of potential, who only struggle to find a way forward in turning their visions and ambitions into reality.
Too often all of their time and energy is tied up in the day to day running of an enterprise coupled with managing a home, sometimes a farm, family/personal life and a multitude of other commitments.
Many are barely scraping by purely because they cannot find the time and therefore the drive or motivation to implement the strategies that would take their business to the next level.
So ironically here I am, a small business owner in a small rural community!
My goal is simple; I want to find people who love what they do but struggle to break through into that next level of productivity in their business due to a lack of time to implement effective marketing strategies that bring worthwhile ROI, and I want to help them!
I am looking for business owners who not only want to think outside of the square, but want to completely reshape it.
